Where am I? It's so cold… so cold. I can't feel my fingers or toes? Do I even have them anymore? It hurts to blink… maybe I could just close my eyes and sleep… Da...

Lithuania had woken earlier this morning and pulled out a cloth. He has shoulder-length brown hair and green eyes; he wears a green military uniform with tall boots. 'Might as well get to work… before Russia yells at me..' he thought and walked over to the window. He gently started to wipe down a vase that sat on the window sill. He stared out at the frozen country and leaned forward, pressing his nose and forehead to the window like a small child would do. He smiled and laughed. "Lithuania," a voice said from behind the brunette. Toris's green eyes widened at the sound of Russia's voice and he slowly turned around so that he was no longer facing the window. Russia wears a long, heavy tan coat, green pants, brown gloves, and a long pinkish-tan scarf. "Do you like snow?" Russia asked, his face emotionless like usual. Toris squirmed under Russia's gaze and looked away from the purple eyes. "Y-Yes, I do like snow," he sputtered nervously and glanced out the window. The country of Russia was now covered in the glistening, frozen water, all of the color washed away. Russia walked forward so that he was standing beside Lithuania and stared out at the yard and wilting sunflowers. "Sneg
*…" Ivan said and looked about the house. Toris trembled and moved away from Russia to clean off something... anything else. "Why aren't you cleaning?" Russia asked suddenly and fixed his gaze on the nervous country. Lithuania gulped and started to wipe at the window with the cloth. Russia's purple eyes... that seemed to see into one's soul… watched Toris for a moment longer before walking down the stairs of his big mansion. He paused about half way down the stairs. "Lithuania!" he called and looked up as the man rushed over to him. Lithuania gulped nervously and fidgeted. "What is it?" he asked. His green eyes studied Ivan, something seemed off about him today… not that Russia wasn't always odd… he just seemed odder than usual. "Is your friend ___ available today?" he asked slowly. This shocked Toris, a small smile crossed the Lithuania's face. "I think so, I could call her and invite her over if you'd like?" suggested Toris. Ivan nodded and watched Toris retreat to another room to make the phone call.

---

I'm alone… is anyone looking for me?

You pulled your jacket more tightly around yourself and shivered. "So freaking cold," you whispered and pushed your earmuffs down harder on your ears. You reached up to knock on the huge door to Ivan's mansion but the door opened just before you could do so. "Toris," you said and smiled happily before hugging your best friend. He laughed and hugged you back but a look of concern crossed his face. "You are freezing ___, why don't you come inside? Ivan in the kitchen," he told you and gently dusted snow off of you with care. You smiled and shook your head, causing snow to slip down your hair and onto your coat and shoulders instead. "T-Thank you," you told him and stepped inside. You wiped your feet off a bit on the mat then walked into the large kitchen. "Ivan?" you called lightly and looked around before spotting the Russian with his head in the fridge. A smile spread across your face and you pulled off your gloves before shoving them into your coat pockets. You walked over and lightly rested a hand against his back. "How are you doing?" you asked and smiled when he slowly pulled his head out of the fridge and stopped looking for whatever he had been looking for. "___," he said in greeting and gave you an indifferent smile. He stood up right, towering over you now due to just how tall he really is. You leaned back bit so that you could study his childish face. He has a round, childish face with a more prominent nose; his hair is a light beige-blonde, and his eyes are purple. "Nice to see you again Ivan," you told him. You had met Ivan not too long ago, when you walked home with your best friend Toris. Ivan had caught the two of you in the sun flower garden but now the two of you had become friends. His purple eyes looked you over for a moment then he closed the refrigerator door. "Do you like snow ___?" he asked curiously. You tilted your head thoughtfully then smiled. "Yes, I like snow… though I'd like it more if it weren't so cold," you told him honestly with a grin. He nodded then walked back into the main room, you automatically followed him. "W-Will you play out in the snow with me?" Russia asked you, looking a bit embarrassed. You giggled at the request and tugged your gloves back on. "Of course, you could use some fun. Will Toris, Raivis, and Eduard be joining us?" you inquired then glanced at your best friend who was cleaning the fireplace. Toris's green eyes met yours then he glanced towards Ivan. Slowly the Russia nodded. "Toris, Raivis, Eduard!" he called and the three Baltic Nations rushed over and stood in a single file line facing him. You tried not to laugh. "We are playing in the snow," he said with a serious face, you had no idea how he could say those words without at least smiling. The three nodded and rushed outside, not wanting to anger the Russian.

You raised your eye brows and grabbed onto Ivan's hand. "Let's go," you told him and tugged the giant out of his warm comfy house and into the snow. He closed the door behind the two of you and released his hand. "What shall we do first?" you asked. Briefly, emotion flashed in his purple eyes… confusion. "Haven't you ever played in the snow?" you asked, surprised. Ivan looked up towards the sky and falling snow. "A very long time ago, I'm not sure I remember how," he replied.

Flashback:

"Mom, it's too cold to play outside!" Ivan complained as his mom pulled on his coat and boots. She laughed softly and ruffled his blonde hair. "It may be cold Ivan, but we can still have lots of fun," she scolded him with a smile. Lightly she poked his nose then gently wrapped his favorite scarf around his neck. "Come on," she urged and pulled the reluctant boy out into the snow. Gently his mom bent over and scooped up some snow into her hands before patting it into a round ball. Ivan watched intently with his purple eyes. "What.. what are you doing?" he asked and wiped some snow off his nose. Instead of answering, his mom turned and threw the ball of snow. The snowball hit his chest and caused him to fall over onto his butt, getting his pants wet. His purple eyes widened and he looked up at his mom. She giggled and pulled him up into a standing position. "Try this instead," she said and opened her mouth before sticking her tongue out, catching glistening snowflakes on her tongue. 'Eat snow, Da?' Ivan thought and looked back up at the sky again before sticking his tongue out. When little pieces of snow hit his tongue, he giggled. "See Ivan? Snow can be fun. Let's play some more," his mom told him happily.

End Flashback.

"Does the snow taste good?" you asked. Your question snapped Russia out of his thoughts and he just noticed that he had stuck his tongue out, much like in the memory. He blushed, just a little bit out of embarrassment. You grinned and stuck your tongue out, catching the snow on your tongue like he had done moments ago. "Look, we could make snow angels, have a snowball fight, make a snowman, or many other things," you suggested and rested your gloved hands on your hips expectantly. Toris cleared his throat nervously and glanced over at you. "C-Can we have a snowball fight? It's been a very long time since I've had a snowball fight?" he asked quietly. The other Baltic Nations, Latvia and Estonia nodded in agreement. Russia peered at the other men then nodded before bending down and picking up some snow. Lightly he patted the snow but with a quick and perfected speed. Before Lithuania knew it, he was hit in the face with a snow ball, causing his nose to go numb because of the cold snow. You laughed placed your hands on your knees because of the shocked look on Toris's face. "Hey!" you squeaked as a snowball hit your shoulder, you turned your gaze to Latvia who was now retreating to hide behind a bush. "Every one for themselves," you said with a chuckle and ducked behind a tree, nearly avoiding another snowball. Ivan didn't even bother to duck behind anything; he simply made himself a huge pile of snowballs and gave all of you an innocent smile, as if the fact that he already had tons of snowballs ready wasn't a bad thing. You quickly bent over and picked up more snow, causing your gloves to get wet and cold as you formed a snowball. Slowly you peeked around the tree you had hidden behind and fell over when three snowballs hit you square in the face. "So c-cold," you sputtered and shook your head. The Baltic Nations were cheating and the three of them: Raivis, Eduard, and Toris were all working together. "Ivan, you're on my team," you told him and laughed as he started throwing snowballs, one after another at other Nations mercilessly. You were almost tempted to tell Ivan not to bury the poor guys in snowballs. A snowball zoomed by your face, nearly hitting you but just a little off. Toris grinned, obviously the culprit this time, you decided not to try and save them from Ivan now. "Eep!" you squeaked and fell over as a snowball hit your face because you weren't able to duck fast enough. You laugh and shiver a bit since now your backside was soaking wet. "I surrender!" you shouted and squealed when another snowball was about to hit you. You shut your eyes tightly, waiting for the impact… but it never came. Slowly you opened your ___ colored eyes and you were shocked to see that Ivan had stepped in front of you, causing the snowball to hit him in the stomach rather than you. "T-Thank you," you sputtered and sat up in the snow. He nodded and pride was evident in his eyes for a spit second before his face went emotionless again.

___, Toris, Eduard, and Raivis…. America… everyone…. Will you miss me? I'm tired and don't want to fight anymore…

As the snowball fight came to an end, you lay back in the snow again and lightly started to move your arms and legs about. Ivan turned to face you after adjusting his scarf and studied your ___ colored eyes that were now closed, your snow filled ___ colored hair that frames your face, and the smile on your face. "What are you doing?" he asked and squatted down so that he was closer to you. You opened your eyes and your ___ colored eyes met his purple ones. "Help me up?" you asked and held out a gloved hand. He took your hand in his and stood before pulling you up with him. You turned to face your work and grinned. "See, it's a snow angel. My arms are the wings, my legs are the dress, and my head is the angel's head," you explained and shivered a bit. "snezhnyj angel**," he repeated and slowly nodded his head, his blonde hair shifting a bit as he did so. You nodded and lightly rubbed your arms. "Yes, a snow angel," you assured him with a small smile. He nodded thoughtfully then noticed your shivering. Ivan easily unbuttoned his coat and shrugged it off before resting it on your shoulders. Since he was so tall, part of his coat lay on the snow. "T-Thank you," you told him and gently pulled it around you more tightly. You snuggled into the coat, enjoying the warmth and smell of Ivan.

Toris and the other nations shuffled over to the two of you. "May we do one more thing… make a snowman?" Eduard asked, his face a light red color because of the cold and because of snowballs that had hit his face. Raivis nodded in agreement and smiled. "Okay, but after that we are going inside, it's freezing!" you told them then pointed at Ivan. You looked him in eye eyes. "You will make the really big snowball and I'll help you, Toris will make the middle, Eduard will do the head, and Raivis will get rocks for the face along with sticks for the arms," you instructed everyone. Every one moved along happily to do their assigned tasks. "Okay, so we have to make a snowball and roll it around on the ground to gather more snow," you said more to yourself than to Ivan. The two of you squatted down and made a big pile of snow before patting and shaping it into a sphere. Your hands brushed and you quickly pulled your hand back, blushing brightly. "Sorry," you told him and glanced up at him, you were surprised to see that his face had a bit of a pink tint to it… is he blushing? You had started to grow feelings for the man that had a childlike face and who rarely showed emotions so it made you happy to see that you could make him blush.

Your Flashback:

"Ivan, you may be many things but you are not alone. You may be sad, but never alone. I'll help you. I want you to see how wonderful the world can be and I want you to smile," you whispered, still stroking his hair. Ivan closed his eyes and smiled, though you didn't see it since you were stroking his hair and looking at his desk. "I think sunflowers make you both happy and sad because of your mother, but you keep them as a reminder that someone really did care about you and loved you so very much," you tell him with certainty. The Russian sighed and relaxed in your hold, gently he rested his hands against your arms that were around him.

End Flashback.

It won't be long now…. Now I can rest…

When the other nations returned, the five of you worked together to pick up Toris's and Eduard's snowballs. You placed the snowballs on top of each other and then pulled Ivan's jacket around yourself some more. Ivan stuck the two sticks into the snowman's body while you gave the snowman eyes, a nose, and a mouth with the stones that were collected. "Our snowman looks great," you cheered while setting your hands on your hips. 'It's missing something' you thought then snapped your fingers, or at least attempted to snap… wearing gloves made the simple task hard. You reached up and gently pulled your scarf off before wrapping it around the snowman. "There, perfect," you said and gave each of the guys a high-five. Now you glanced at your watch then at the others. "Thank you so much for inviting me over. I had so much fun… sadly I have to go now though. I will see you guys soon," you told them and gave each Baltic Nation a hug. You paused in front of Russia and looked up at him. Lightly you nibbled your bottom lip then hugged his waist since that was about all you could reach. A very quiet chuckle escaped Ivan's lips and you looked up at him. "What?" you asked then squealed as he picked you up so that the two of you were now face to face. You blushed brightly and wrapped your arms around his neck to ensure that he wouldn't drop you. "B-B-Bye Ivan," you sputtered and placed a kiss on his cheek. Gently Ivan set you back down and accepted his coat that you held out to him. "Bye," he said simply and watched you leave his mansion. Slowly his purple eyes looked down at the coat in his hand then he lightly pressed it to his face, inhaling your sweet scent. "Get back to work," he told the Baltic Nations, keeping the coat close to his face.

Footsteps? No… let me die…

'What's that sound?!' you thought groggily. Ring Ring! Ring Ring! The sound continued, waking you from your sleep. 'My alarm clock? No..' you thought sleepily. You forced your eye open and rubbed at them furiously to help wake yourself up. It was late… practically midnight and something had woken you from your sleep. Ring Ring! Ring Ring! 'Stop that sound!' you thought. You shook your head to clear it and peered around your dark room, your eyes fell upon an object and realization dawned on you. The phone! 'Who would call me this late?' you thought and jumped out of bed. You walked over to the phone while rubbing your eyes, missing the last ring. "Hey it's ___, I can't get to the phone right now so please leave a message after the beep and I'll call you back… Beep!" said your answering machine, annoyingly loud. There was a pause, where there was no sound. "___! ___ wake up! I know you are probably sleeping but this is really important!" said the person on the other end of the phone, Toris. You reached for the phone and hit the talk button before pressing it to your ear. "What is it?" you asked sleepily, trying to keep your tired ___ colored eyes open. You shook your head as your eyes adjusted to the darkness of your room. "Ivan's missing!" Lithuania shouted into the phone, half sobbing. You nodded your head. "Right, Right," you said, what he said not registering in your foggy mind just yet. Lithuania hiccupped into the phone. "We can't find Ivan any where! He's not in the house at all or out in the garden. He's really big… it's not like he can hid from us!" Toris explained worriedly. Yes, he, Raivis, and Eduard feared the Russian but he did still care about the scary man… at least a little bit. Your eyes widened and you hung up the phone without another word. Quickly you scooped up your now dry coat, gloves, boots, and hat before yanking them on over your pajamas. 'Ivan, missing!' you thought frantically. "Where would he go?! And why would he leave the house?!" you whispered in anger. You rushed down the stairs, rushing which caused you to trip and land with a loud thump onto your hard wood floor. "Ouch," you mumbled but stood up, despite the pain. You pushed yourself up and grabbed both your cell phone and keys before rushing out into the snowy, cold night.

---

"Toris, you and Eduard check out back. Me and Raivis will check out front," you instructed the Baltic nations while rubbing your gloved hands together to warm them up. It had been cold earlier with the sun up so now that it was late at night, it was absolutely freezing and you worried for Ivan. Yes he was a tough, big guy but it was still unbearably cold out. They nodded, dressed in coats and all holding flashlights. You grabbed Raivis's hand and pulled him along. "Where would he go?" you asked, shivering like crazy. He shook his head with a frown, not knowing where Ivan would go on a night like this. 'To get Vodka?' you thought but shook your head. He wouldn't go this late in this weather just to get more Vodka. You released Raivis. "Stay within shouting distance, if we split up we can search more ground," you told him then started walking, shuffling through the snow. You pointed your flashlight ahead of you and peered around, no sign of the Russia. "Ivan! Ivan where are you?!" you shouted. You listened closely but there was no answer. "Damn it," you snapped and started walking again. The ground beneath your feet crumbled and you slipped. You screamed in surprise and fell down for what seemed like forever before falling into a huge smile of snow once again. "Shoot," you said with a gasp, soaking wet and cold. You looked up to see you had fallen several feet. "Raivis?!" you shouted. There was no answer, just the howl of the wind and the sound of a wolf in reply. You shivered and rubbed your arms frantically before reaching into your pocket for your phone. 'Where's my phone?!' you thought, it must have fallen out when you fell. You quickly bent down and felt around in the snow for the phone but it was no use. There was just so much snow, and the snow was still falling from the sky. "R-Raivis?! Toris! Eduard! Ivan!" you shouted. You glanced up then around again. "D-D-Da moj angel***?" came a reply. Your eyes widened and you ran over to a larger pile of snow. "Ivan," you shouted and quickly moved some snow off of his body. He was laying in the snow, his face looking paler than usual, his purple eyes were almost all the way closed, and his hair was a mess.  "Oh Ivan," you whispered and quickly wrapped your arms around him, trying to warm him up. You were both freezing and you weren't sure how long he had been out here. "Ivan, what were you doing out here?" you asked and rubbed his arms and back. He opened his eyes slowly, as if it took all his energy to do so. "Y-Your…. Scarf.. it got blown off the snowman and I went to get it. I-I-I fell," he said slowly and you were just barely able to understand the frozen man. You froze and looked down at him… he did all of this just to get YOUR scarf. "It's just a scarf Ivan!" you told him, horrified. He glanced down at his hand and you followed his gaze to see that he indeed did have a hold on your ___ colored scarf. "Oh Ivan…" you said, not exactly sure how to respond to this. Again you started warming him up but you stiffened when once again, you heard a wolf howl. "Ivan, we have to get out of here. Raivis, Eduard, and Toris are looking for us. Can you stand?" you asked. You were pretty sure you wouldn't be able to lift Ivan since he was more than double your height and much heavier.

She's here, ___ came to rescue me…

Ivan blinked his purple eyes, wiggled his numb fingers and toes… trying to bring back feeling. "Come on Ivan," you encouraged him and shivered, your face bright red and in pain because of the cold. He bent his arms and slowly tried to push himself up into a sitting position, pain was obvious on his face. You bit your bottom lip hard, causing it to bleed. "It's okay Ivan, I'm sure the others will find us," you said slowly, not wanting him to hurt himself any more. Slowly he managed to sit up. "C-Come here ___," Russia said quietly. Slowly you scooted over and allowed him to wrap his arms around you, the two of you sharing body heat. Another howl, followed by two more echoed through the air. You shivered, you weren't sure if it was out of fear or due to the cold. "I-Ivan…" you started but he shook his head to silence you. You leaned back into him and rubbed both his arms and your own. A black, hunger, thin looking wolf stepped out into the small clearing the two of you sat in, followed by two stronger looking gray wolves. "Ivan…" you whispered just before snow fell on the two of you.

"___! Ivan!" yelled Lithuania yelled as him, Eduard, and Raivis slid down the cliff more gracefully than you had. They ran over to the two of you and held up their flashlights as weapons. The wolves sniffed the air, as if considering whether or not they'd have a chance against the five of you. The black wolf growled and took one step forward. Ivan slid you off his lap and slowly but surely stood, his right knee bent a bit. He towered over you and the Baltic nations, along with the wolves. The wolf growled again and took a step back this time. The three wolves backed away and left. You sighed of relief and the world spun around you before everything went black.

__ saved me… I love her so… thank you. I hung on a bit longer and she came for me… perhaps she loves me too, Da?

Your ___ colored eyes blinked slowly and the first thing you saw was Ivan's purple eyes looking at you, filled with worry. "You are okay, Da?" he asked and patted your knee. You nodded slowly and took in your surroundings. You were back in Ivan's mansion, laying on his couch by the fireplace, covered by a blanket. "Y-Yes, thank you…" you whispered and sat up slowly. You looked down at yourself to find that you were wearing a pair of Ivan's clothes along with your scarf… you were too scared to ask who had changed you. "Are you okay Ivan? You had us all worried!" you told him and lightly leaned forward so that your forehead rested against his shoulder. "I'm fine moj angel," he told you and gently patted the top of your head. After a moment, he stopped patting your head, and instead he stroked your wonderful ___ colored hair. You looked up at him curiously. "What does that mean? You had called me that earlier… moj angel?" you asked. His face went a light shade of pink and he looked towards the fireplace. "It Russian, it means my angel. You saved me after all," he said simply and smiled one of his rare true smiles rather than an indifferent one. It was your turn to blush now, though your face went a bright red color instead of just pink. "H-Hey Ivan? You do know that I love you right?" you asked. He turned away from the glowing fire and towards you again with wide eyes. Though he didn't ask, you knew what he meant. "Yes, I really do love you. So when I heard you were missing, I was terrified," you told him honestly. His purple eyes shown with happiness for a moment. "Ja ljublju tebja. Ja ljublju tebja vsem serdcem, vsej dusho****," he told you. You weren't sure exactly what he said, but the meaning was clear when he leaned forward and pressed a possessive kiss on your lips. Your mind whirled and you slowly wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to yourself. The kiss was filled with nothing but love. Slowly you laid back, causing him to have to move so that he was over you to keep your lips pressed together. Ivan raised on of his large hands to your cheek and caressed it lightly while his other hand tangled itself into your wonderful hair.

Finally the two of you pulled away for air, panting and out of breath. "Become one with Russia, Da?" he asked you quietly. Before when he had said it, he had been joking, this time he was serious. You studied his purple eyes then nodded your head with a smile. "Yes," you told him and tugged on a strand of his hair. He smiled and thought, 'Thank you moj angel, Ja ljublju tebja.' He pressed his lips to yours again.

The End.
So, I wrote a RussiaXReader a while back that I didn't think was that good. Well alot of people liked it apparently and had been begging for a second one... so here it is :3 Russia is an interesting character to write with, I must say. Turned out longer than I thought O.o

*Sneg – Snow
** snezhnyj angel – Snow Angel
***moj angel– My Angel
**** Ja ljublju tebja – I love you
Ja ljublju tebja vsem serdcem, vsej dushoj - I love you with all my heart, with all my soul.

My Russian might be wrong, I don't know Russia at all and just had to try and look up how to say the words so if you know Russia and I said anything wrong, please tell me! I won't mind!

“When I see all your stupid faces I think of how fun it will be to pound them into dust...”
